Part of the ‘Beautiful Shoreham’ series of designs, the Shoreham Toll Bridge links Shoreham-by-Sea to Lancing across the River Adur tidal estuary. Traditionally, the crossing of the Adur at this point was via a flat raft, pulled from one side of the estuary to the other.
